Movement is part of Virginie Avot's life.

She became attracted by dance on seeing Swan Lake at the age of five.

She nourished this passion through various forms, classical dance of course (Cie Tessa Beaumont),     modern dance (Cie Rue des Arts), jazz (Cie Ray Collins), contemporary dance (Sophie Meyer, Pedro Pauwels ...), dance-theater (The Mezzanine, Co. Air intake) and even revues (international tour)…

She then experimented the floating dimension through vertical dance (Cie the passengers, Back to the tree, Air intake). It took her 7 years to explore the air and tame gravity. After a pretty bad fall, she trained in the Feldenkrais method and became a practitioner, radically changing her relationship to dance movement.

She is now reconnecting with the ground and experimenting the use of street furniture dancing in Frichti Concept company's creations.
